Eleven on Tumbleweed sleeps 6 people comfortably in 3 ensuite bedrooms, each equipped with Smart TV's and heating and cooling amenities.

The main bedroom has a queen sized bed with views of the mountain. The ensuite bathroom has a modern DADO stone bathtub, ideal for soaking in the mountain views, a large shower and an outside shower. The main bedroom has stacking doors that open up onto the large terrace.

The second bedroom has a queen sized bed, a small verandah, perfect for a quiet reading session and has an ensuite bathroom with a shower and outside shower.

The third bedroom has a queen sized bed and an ensuite bathroom with a large shower.

There is also a guest toilet available in the common area. The common area has large windows and stacking doors on either side which once open give the house a one in nature feeling.

The lounge has a Smart TV with NETFLIX, PRIME VIDEO and SHOWMAX available. It also boasts a beautiful log fireplace for those chilly evenings.

The lounge , dining area and kitchen have glass stacking doors that fully open leading you onto the large patio/entertaining area that has uninterrupted views of Champagne Castle and Cathkin Peak. Built-in wood burning braai on the terrace that has a 6 seater dining table under cover.

Cleaning

For bookings of 4 nights or more, cleaning will happen on the 3rd day. Additional cleaning can be arranged at R350 per day.

Lots of great restaurants, cafes and shops within an approximate 10km/15km radius.

Security Deposit

This property requires a R4,000 security deposit, in the form of a hold on your credit card, processed 1 day prior to check-in, that will automatically be released within 7 days of check-out should there be no damages, fines or fees as per the Booking/Rental Ts and Cs. In the event of a claim, there will be a 15% service fee charged on the total claim amount.

Property Rules

Check-in time - is no earlier than 3pm (unless prior arranged in writing).
Check-out time - is no later than 10am.

- No smoking inside the property (this includes cigarettes and note that hubbly bubbly is prohibited at all times).
- Noise to be kept to a minimum & no loud music after 10pm. No tailgating at the main gate (fines apply). 
- The accommodation is for short-term residential rentals. It is not for parties, receptions, meetings, functions, commercial use, or guests above the registered number.
- No pets allowed (by order of the estate).
- All damages/fines are for the guests account.

Loadshedding:

To assist during loadshedding this property has rechargeable lights, emergency lights and an inverter that powers certain lights. Please note there is no generator at the property. You're welcome to bring your own mobile backup power to assist you further. You'll be notified prior to check-in of the loadshedding schedule should there be any that occur during your stay so that you can plan around it accordingly.

Late check-ins
In case of a late check-in after 7pm on Saturdays to Thursdays and 10pm on Fridays, a standard late check-in fee of R750 will apply.

Documentation and processes

We require all documentation and processes to be completed before 12pm the day prior to check-in. Failure to do so will result in a late penalty fee of R350 and the risk of your booking being cancelled without a refund.
