About Koh Chang
Koh Chang is the 3rd largest island in Thailand and part of the Mu Ko Chang National Park. Koh Chang means ‘Elephant Island’ and is known for its more laid-back feel compared to the more touristy islands of Phuket and Samui. So it’s ideal for travellers who seek to avoid the crowds.

Beaches
Your trip to Koh Chang is likely somewhat to do with being a beach holiday. There are 4 main beaches on the island: White Sand Beach (most popular with a wide choice of restaurants and bars), Lonely Beach (quirkier of all the beaches), Klong Prao (longest beach with shops and restaurants towards the north end) and Kai Bae beach (most charming). There are some smaller quieter beaches - our host can guide you on during your stay.

Activities
When you're not bathing in the sun, enjoying a bite to eat or shipping a cool beverage, there are many activities you can enjoy just a few minutes drive from the accommodation. Off-site activities come at an extra charge and include fishing, Elephant trekking, jungle trekking, snorkelling trips, massages, cooking classes, hiking and diving. 

Damage Protection
This property is protected by Just Be Lekker (JBL), the travel reputation platform. Guests are required to pay a R800 non-refundable damage waiver fee (R10,000 worth of accidental damage cover) OR have a R5,000 refundable security deposit hold placed on their card to gain access to the property. The guest will be sent a link by JBL to verify their booking.

Please note that should a guest choose the refundable security deposit, a R47 service fee will be charged by JBL. This fee covers the cost of verifying the booking and ensuring the property's protection. Just Be Lekker aims to provide a secure and reliable booking experience for all guests.

While the security deposit / damage waiver fee will be processed 1 day before check-in, we advise you to complete the JBL verification process as soon as possible to avoid any complications with your booking

Documentation and processes
We require all documentation and processes to be completed before 12 pm the day prior to check-in. Failure to do so will result in a late penalty fee of R350

Property Rules
Check-in time - is no earlier than 3pm (unless prior arranged in writing).
Check-out time - is no later than 10am.

- No smoking inside the property (this includes cigarettes and note that hubbly bubbly is prohibited at all times).
- Noise to be kept to a minimum & no loud music after 10pm.
- The accommodation is for short-term residential rentals. It is not for parties, receptions, meetings, functions, commercial use, or guests above the registered number.
- No pets allowed.
- All damages/fines are for the guests account.
